Zeroes and Ones are drawings with pencil on paper so far. The drawings consist of circles and lines; more precisely, I repeatedly draw a circle (zero) and two lines (ones). The drawings are sometimes on the order of millimeters, sometimes even on the order of micrometers—as small as possible. The resulting works are both reflections on binary code and a critical examination of trees, forests, and our treatment of these supposedly natural “resources.”
